Please note that per the CBA the period for All Departments to accept transfers is open from June 1 to June 30. You must submit your transfer request during this time period to be eligible for a transfer, all prior requests will not be honored. DSS accepts only electronic requests, you can find the link for those City electronic forms on our app and on our website.
For DSS Only: You will be required to furnish the following:

- Valid email address
- Your employee ID # (can be found on your pay stub or you can ask your time keeper).
- Your current job title, bureau and work location.The link(s) can be accessed on any device with internet access (ie: desktop, tablet, laptop, mobile phone). You will receive a confirmation to the email address you provide on the form.
Please keep in mind, for your transfer to be considered, you must be in an active status (currently working) at the time of the transfer meeting. If you are not in an active status, your transfer will not be considered. The deadline to submit your transfer is by the end of business Thursday, June 30, 2022. Access to this link will be shut down after this date.
If you wish to retreat your transfer and you no longer wish to leave your current work location, you must submit your request in writing by Friday, June 24th. No exceptions.
