By now you’ve likely heard the news, starting January 1st, recyclables must be placed loose in the blue cart. If hauling your recycling bin to the cart is a pain, here are couple of alternative modes of transportation:
1. Store or transfer recyclables in a cheap reusable bag, then empty the bag’s contents into the cart.
2. Use a paper bag with handles (like Trader Joe’s bags), then empty the paper bag and reuse or recycle separately. |
